My acer crystal cinedas webcam still doesnt work and i have tried every conceivable driver in every conceivable compatibilty mode, "camera not found" windows reports every time, so i guess that will also have to wait till acer or microsoft??

Well, tried that and it seemed to install fine, but only when i changed the compatibility mode at install, however every time the machine rebooted afterwards, i got a prompt to install something even though it had already did so.

If NO give me the details of the system which OS is using. What Notebook Should I Buy? I had the same problem with my Aspire G Now it works fine. The fingerprint reader now works, although i think it probably always did and i just didnt know how to set-up, but like i said, it works. My media-centre-console thing does nothing still and i cannot find ANY drivers for this, even for vista!!
