I am hoping the problem can be solved by taking it to a Garmin service center but the closest one is over one hundred miles but I will be going that way next week. How I made a mistake buying this Garmin It can be used handheld but an powered garmin auto cradle is recommended since battery life is limited with the GPS turned on. Other offers may also be available.
