I now do not have to keep wandering back to the computer to click the mouse to advance the slides. Haven't had it long enough to rate battery life, but am not a big fan of button batteries.

Moreover, you can point the unit anywhere and it will advance the slide. It might advance a little too easily but no real complaints.

Actually I bought it because I thought I could program one of the 4 programmable buttons as last viewed slide. Larry from exceptional quality and performance Working in the prison ministry where walking around in class is very important, I am no longer restricted to the laptop hitting the up and lresenter keys to advance powerpoint slides.
